Top 5 Best Healers In Honkai Star Rail
No.5 Bailu
- Rarity: Five-Star (Permanent)
- Type: Lightning
- Path: Abundance
- Best Played With: Any team that requires a healer
Bailu is Honkai Star Rail first ever healer character and was released immediately at the very start of the game and is a permanent character in the gacha pool. Despite this, Bailu has held up surprisingly well as a healer in the overall meta of the game for new and old players as a whole.
Bailu’s skills allow her to heal up to 3 allies simultaneously by a large amount, making her a decently efficient healer for costing 1 skill point. Her Ultimate also allows her to immediately heal all allies at the same time, making it a very efficient emergency healing option.
In terms of team utility, however, Bailu is a bit lacking compared to other options as she does not have other utility outside of healing like cleansing debuffs, debuffing the enemy or dealing damage.
That being said, she does make up for this by being able to revive an ally from death once per battle, which is very useful for newer players with lesser built characters.
No.4 Gallagher
- Rarity: Four-Star
- Type: Fire
- Path: Abundance
- Best Played With: Any team that requires a healer. Best used in a Break Damage Team with Firefly, Boothill or Rappa.
Gallagher is a four star character following the Abundance path introduced in Penacony with a mixed skill kit revolving around healing allies and dealing Break Effect damage.
In terms of being a healer, Gallagher does a very good job as his skill not only allows him to massively heal a character’s HP (and cleanse a debuff from them at E2) but his talent also allows him to heal all allies (and cleanse their debuffs) when using his enhanced normal attacks.
In terms of team utility, Gallagher is extremely powerful in various teams, but especially in Break Effect Damage centric teams. Gallagher’s abilities allow him to become a mixed healing damage support, with his Ultimate helping him inflict a debuff that increases the Break Damage taken by all enemies and allows him to break Fire Weakness enemies quickly by attacking all enemies at once.
The higher his Eidolon level is, the more powerful he becomes and he has the advantage of being a four-star character, making him easier to build.
No.3 Luocha
- Rarity: Five-Star (Limited)
- Type: Imaginary
- Path: Abundance
- Best Played With: Any team that requires a healer
Luocha is one of the game’s first limited five-star healers to ever be released in Honkai Star Rail and is one of the characters that focuses solely on healing.
Luocha’s skill allows him to immediately heal any allies that are low on HP when attacked by enemies and cleanse 1 debuff from them, allowing him to rescue allies who are on the brink of death to almost full health immediately.
In addition, his talent allows him to deploy a healing field, making it so that every ally's attacks will heal them based on their damage, helping to keep the team alive for a long period of time, suitable for a healing-centric sustain but with little utility or damage outside of his healings.
No.2 Huohuo
- Rarity: Five-Star (Limited)
- Type: Wind
- Path: Abundance
- Best Played With: Any team that requires a healer and any team that requires energy regeneration or attack buffs.
Huohuo is a five star limited Abundance character that, while may be able to offer huge amounts of HP recovery, offers large amounts of utility to make up for it.
Huohuo’s main healing gimmick revolves around the use of her skill, which allows her to heal a decent amount of HP for 1 ally and additionally heal half of their amount to the 2 allies adjacent to the target, making her heal 3 allies at the same time and cleanse them of 1 debuff each.
However, she lacks an emergency healing option, making it very difficult to time her healing in difficult situations.
However, despite her low healing amounts, what makes Huohuo a very powerful healer is her utility abilities. Once her skill is used, she will apply stacks of talismans on allies, healing them and cleansing their debuffs whenever they take their turns or when their HP drops below 50%, allowing allies to constantly cleanse debuffs from themselves, especially movement prevention debuffs.
Not only that, Huohuo’s Ultimate allows her to immediately grant all allies 20% of their Ultimate Energy and Massively increase all allies’ attacks, allowing her to become a very powerful enabler and support for any teams that need energy or attack buffs. Thus, making her one of the best teammates for the current new character Sunday.
No.1 Lingsha
- Rarity: Five-Star (Limited)
- Type: Fire
- Path: Abundance
- Best Played With: Any team that requires a healer, best in any Follow-Up Attack centric teams (Feixiao, Dr Ratio) and any Break Effect Damage centric teams ( Firefly, Boothill, Rappa)
Lingsha is a fire elemental five-star character that follows that Abundance path and is by far, the best healer in Honkai Star Rail as of version 2.7 thanks to her versatile yet powerful skill set that outshines all other healers in the game.
Lingsha’s healing capabilities are immensely powerful thanks to her ability to heal all allies by a decent amount of HP every time she and her summon attack the enemy.
Lingsha also cleanses all allies of debuffs whenever her summon takes a turn and is able to emergency heal all allies at low HP twice in a battle thanks to her talent.
In terms of utility, Lingsha is by far the most offensive healer in the game, with the ability to deal massive amounts of damage that reduces the Fire Weakness Break bar of all enemies and deal massive amounts of Break Damage to enemies.
Not only that, thanks to her summon being able to take turns separately from herself, Lingsha is able to deal Follow Up Attack damage even when outside of her turn, making her very Skill Point efficient and very flexible for team building, allowing her to be able to go with both Follow Up Attack teams and Break Effect Damage teams.
Lingsha’s immense powerful damage output, coupled with her ridiculous healing capability makes her the game’s best healer in the current meta.
Conclusion
With the ever shifting meta of Honkai Star Rail, as it approaches a brand new planet with major characters being teased to release in the future, it is important for players to plan ahead and roll for the best possible healers to help them survive the upcoming challenges.
