Together with the exciting introduction of Honkai Star Rail 3.0 version update, players will have the chance meet and roll for a brand new version of Herta during the first half of the version update - The 5-star Ice Elemental Character Following The Path of Erudition - The Herta (also known as Big Herta).

The Herta

 

Overview

  • Title: Emanator of Erudition and #83 of the Genius Society
  • Element: Ice
  • Path: Erudition
  • Role: DPS
  • Significance: The real Herta makes her debut in HSR 3.0, distinct from her puppet form. She is an extremely powerful AoE damage DPS character with the ability to deal massive amounts of Ice Elemental damage to all enemies in her path. She gains immense benefits when there’s 2 Erudition Characters on the field (including herself) and the more she uses her abilities and the more of her ability stacks she accumulates, the more damage she will deal to all enemies in front of her.

 

The Herta Kit

Basic ATK: Did You Get It (Single Target)

Deals Ice DMG equal to 100% of The Herta's ATK to one designated enemy target.

Skill: Big Brain Energy (AoE)

The Herta Skills 1 Big Brain Energy (AoE)

Deals Ice DMG equal to 70% of The Herta's ATK to one designated enemy, and inflicts 1 stack of "Interpretation." Deals Ice DMG equal to 70% of The Herta's ATK to the target that has been hit by this instance of Skill and adjacent targets. This effect can repeat 2 times.

 

Enhanced Skill: Hear Me Out (AoE)

The Herta Enhanced Skill: Hear Me Out (AoE)

Consumes 1 stack of "Inspiration." Deals Ice DMG equal to 80% of The Herta's ATK to one designated enemy and inflicts 1 stack of "Interpretation." Deals Ice DMG equal to 80% of The Herta's ATK to the target that has been hit by this instance of Skill and their adjacent targets, repeating 2 times. Finally, deals Ice DMG equal to 40% of The Herta's ATK to all enemy targets.

 

Ultimate: Told Ya! Magic Happens

The Herta Ultimate

Rearrange the number of "Interpretation" stacks on all enemies, prioritizing the transfer of the higher number of "Interpretation" stacks to Elite level targets and above. And deals Ice DMG equal to 200% The Herta's ATK to all enemies. When using Ultimate, increases The Herta's ATK by 64%, lasting for 2 turns. After the use, The Herta immediately takes action and gains 1 stack of "Inspiration." "Inspiration" can stack up to 2 times. When holding "Inspiration," enhancesthe  Skill to "Hear Me Out."

 

Talent: Hand Them Over

When enemy targets enter battle, The Herta inflicts 1 stack of "Interpretation" on them. When the Enhanced Skill's primary target has "Interpretation," the multiplier for the DMG dealt increases, with each stack granting an increase of 8%/5% on the primary target/other targets respectively. If at least 2 characters follow the Path of Erudition in the team, each stack grants an additional increase of 8%/5% on the primary target/other targets respectively. "Interpretation" can stack up to 42 times. When using the Enhanced Skill, resets the number of "Interpretation" stacks on the ability's target to 1. After the enemy target leaves the battle or gets defeated by any unit, "Interpretation" will be transferred, prioritizing the transfer to Elite-level targets and above.

 

Technique: Vibe Check

Increases Herta's attack by 40% at the start of the next battle, lasting for 2 turns. And at the start of each wave, The Herta applies 25 Interpretation stacks to one random enemy target at the start of each wave, prioritizing Elite or rarer targets. 

Additionally, if there are Basic Treasures in the current map, using Herta's technique will mark the locations of up to 3 of them. 

And after entering battle by using her Technique in the Simulated Universe or Divergent Universe, Herta deals True Damage equal to 99% of the target's maximum HP to enemy targets lower than Elite-level, and deals True Damage equal to 30% of the target's maximum HP to enemy targets at Elite-level and above.

Non-type DMG that is not affected by any effects.

  • Aloofly Honest (Unlock at Ascension 2):

When ally targets attack, inflicts 1 stack of "Interpretation" on the hit enemy target. After attacking, for every 1 target hit by this attack, regenerates 3 fixed Energy for The Herta, counting up to a maximum of 5 targets. When using Enhanced Skill and if the target's "Interpretation" stack is 42, increases Ice DMG dealt by The Herta by 50% until the end of this instance of Enhanced Skill.

  • Message From Beyond the Veil (Unlock at Ascension 4):

When entering battle, if the team has at least 2 characters following the Path of Erudition (including The Herta), then increases all allies' CRIT DMG by 80%.

Calculates at least 3 targets when the Trace "Aloofly Honest" calculates hit targets, applies 1 stack(s) of "Interpretation" to the target that has the highest current "Interpretation" stacks among the hit enemy targets after attacking, and additionally applies 2 stack(s) of "Interpretation" if they are a character following the Path of Erudition.

  • Starved Landscape of Vacua (Unlock at Ascension 6):

For every 1 stack of "Interpretation" inflicted on enemy targets, The Herta gains 1 stack of "Answer" up to 99 stack(s). When using the Ultimate, every stack of "Answer" increases the Ultimate's DMG multiplier by 1%.

Eidolons

Eidolon 1: Night at Shorefall

When Enhanced Skill calculates "Interpretation," additionally calculates 30% of the "Interpretation" stacks on the 2 targets with the highest stacks out of the primary target and adjacent targets. When using Enhanced Skill to reset "Interpretation" and if the primary target's current "Interpretation" stack is 10 or higher, reset the stack number to 10 instead.

Eidolon 2: Wind Through Keyhole

If enemy "Interpretation" reaches 42 when stacks are applied or transferred to them, then The Herta gains 1 stack of "Inspiration." When using Enhanced Skill, The Herta's action advances by 15%. If the target's "Interpretation" stack is 42, additionally advance The Herta's action by 25%.

Eidolon 3: Door into Summer

Skill Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.

Talent Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.

Eidolon 4: The Sixteenth Key

The SPD of characters following the Path of Erudition in the team increases by 12%.

Eidolon 5: Bitter Pill of Truth

Ultimate Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.

Basic ATK Lv. +1, up to a maximum of Lv. 10.

Eidolon 6: Sweet Lure of Answer

The Herta's Ice RES PEN increases by 20%. When the number of enemy targets on the field is 3 (or more)/2/1, Ultimate's DMG multiplier increases by 140%/250%/400%.

 

Signature Light Cone

  • Effect

Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 12% / 14% / 16% / 18% / 20%. When the wearer uses their Ultimate, increases DMG dealt by the wearer's Skill and Ultimate by 48% / 60% / 72% / 84% / 96%, lasting for 3 turns. After the wearer uses their Ultimate, if this Ultimate consumes 140 or more Energy, recovers 1 Skill Point. This effect can trigger a maximum of 1 time every 2 turns.
