Basic Introduction
Miyabi is an S-rank character with the Frost Attribute who belongs to the Anomaly Specialty. She leads Hollow Special Operations Section 6, which is dedicated to eliminating any threats posed by the Hollows.
One of the highlights of Miyabi is her Frost Attribute. It's quite similar to the Ice element, it can still benefit from Ice Buffs like damage bonuses and the ability to trigger Freeze, Shatter, and Frotsbite. Miyabi needs to stack the Fallen Frost to use her Skills.
However, what makes her unique is her own Anomaly Specialty. Separate from the Ice element, meaning it can still trigger Disorders on enemies under the Ice Anomaly. As part of Miaybi's core passive, it also triggers Frostburn on enemies with the Icefire debuff.
Miyabi is absolutely a bonker. When her CRIT Rate reaches 80%, she can burst massive damage output. Her basic attack charge level three can reach a damage multiplier of 4282.8%, which is far greater than other characters.

Skill Priority
Miyabi's Core Skill is an essential component of her mechanics. It not only improves Miyabi's Frost damage by inducing enemies to enter the Frostburn state but also helps teammates accumulate 20% more Anomaly Buildup.
Miyabi's Basic Attack and Special Attack are her main source of damage. The Ultimate also inflicts Frost damage on foes. When compared to these skills, Dodge and Assist appear to be less important.
So the Skill Priority we recommend is Core Skill > Basic Attack / Special Attack > Chain Attack > Dodge / Assist.
Miyabi W-Engines
Hailstorm Shrine
Anomaly CRIT Rate: 24%
CRIT DMG increased by: 50% / 57% / 65% / 72% / 80%
There is no doubt that Miyabi's best W-Engine is her signature W-Engine: Hailstorm Shrine.
Aside from the bonus CRIT Rate and DMG, it gives Miyabi a 20% Ice DMG buff every time she uses her EX special or an Anomaly is triggered stacking up to 2 times.
Giving her a total Ice DMG of 40%, this W-Engine helps her reach her 80% CRIT Rate Stat goal easier.
Fusion Compiler
Anomaly Increases ATK by 12%
It is a good alternative S-Rank W-Engine. It gives a bit of Attack and a lot of PEN Ratio which is pretty good if you're using her with Rina. Since you can ignore a big chunk of the enemy's defense allowing for big damage.
Electro-Lip Gloss
Anomaly ATK 10% - 16%
Bonus DMG: 15% - 25%
It is a good A-Rank option for Miyabi. But it has a restriction which is it needs an enemy to have an Anomaly to get its passive.
Miyabi Drive Discs
Best Choice: Branch & Blade Song
2-Pc: 16% CRIT Rate
4-Pc: It gives her a total of 46% bonus CRIT DMG and you don't have to worry about his activation condition since Miyabi inherently has 116 Anomaly Mastery just one over 115 needed for this set.
It also gives her a 12% bonus CRIT Rate for 15s whenever Freeze or Shatter is triggered.
Great Alternative: Polar Metal
2-Pc: Ice DMG +10%
4-Pc: While giving Miyabi a 10% bonus Ice DMG, it buffs her Basic Attack DMG by 20% which also affects her charge attacks. If you inflict Freeze or Shatter the damage boost gets bumped up to 40%.
Good Option: Woodpecker Electro
2-Pc: CRIT Rate +8%
4-Pc: It can give up to 27% ATK boost by dealing critical hits with Basic, Dodge, and EX Special. It enables for enormous DMG.
To build up a strong DPS on the battlefield, we highly recommend equipping 4-Pc Branch & Blade Song and 2-Pc Woodpecker Electro.
Drive Disc Stats Priority
As for Miyabi's Drive Disc's main stats, we suggest:
Drive Disc 4: CRIT Rate
Drive Disc 5: Ice DMG / ATK / PEN Ratio
Drive Disc 6: ATK
Regarding the sub stats priority, we recommend CRIT Rate > CRIT DMG > ATK% > Flat PEN / ATK > Anomaly Proficiency.

According to Miyabi's kit, we know that cooperating with the same Faction Bangboo would be a great choice. Because Miyabi's damage of Basic Attack can be increased by 60% if there's the same Faction character in her team.
Miyabi Build Teams
In order to activate both of Miyabi's core skill, you need either a character from the same Faction or a support character along with an Anomaly DPS that can assist in triggering Disorder often.
Team 1: Miyabi + Yanagi + Support
Without a doubt, the best ally for Miyabi would be Yanagi, since she is from Section 6 and is capable of triggering Disorder often due to being an Anomaly DPS.
Ceasar is the best third character in this team composition. With Ceasar's defense, this team would be more unbreakable. But if you don't have Ceasar, there are still some great options to choose:
Teams |
DPS |
Miyabi + Yanagi + Ceasar |
100% |
Miyabi + Yanagi + Lucy |
90.24% |
Miyabi + Yanagi + Soukaku |
84.09% |
Miyabi + Yanagi + Rina |
80.42% |
Miyabi + Yanagi + Burnice |
80.43% |
Team 2: Miyabi + Burnice + Lucy
This team composition has a DPS of 90.05%. It is an incredible synergistic and formidable team. Burnice specializes in dealing damage off-field and triggering burns insanely quickly which would allow Disorder to be triggered frequently and provide Miyabi with plenty of field time.
Lucy can also deal damage off the field and provide teammates with a 600 Flat Attack bonus. It would enable her to provide excellent support to the team. She can also trigger Miyabi's core passive.
Team 3: Miyabi + Piper + Lucy
Piper is also a great choice because she is a Physical Anomaly character. She frequently triggers assault and her core passive can increase all ally's damage by 18%. This is quite valuable for Miyabi.
This composition is valuable and easy to access given that Piper and Lucy are A-Rank characters.
Team 4: Miyabi + Soukaku + Lycaon
Soukaku and Lycaon grant numerous buffs for Miyabi. Both of them can enable Miyabi to deal with a lot of DMG. This team'DPS fluctuates from 77.89% to 120%. The reason for this is that the team composition is restricted to the theme and player's skill.
Final Thoughts
It's said that Miyabi is going to be the strongest DPS character in the game. We can tell from her mechanics that, indeed, she is a powerful DPS.
So if you need a strong DPS character to assist you get through endgame content. Miyabi will be the best character to pick up.
