Wuthering Waves 1st Anniversary: 5-Star Character x12 & Event Guide

Rovers, Wuthering Waves' first anniversary celebration is set to grandly open on April 29! The 2.3 version not only features new 5-star characters Zani, Ciaccona, and 10x Resonator Convene Banner, but also offers a huge amount of gacha resources for you to claim!

Resonators will transform into cute cubes for adventures, and there are event dungeons and a new roguelike mode waiting for you to challenge.

Anniversary Celebration Time

It has been one year since the official launch of Wuthering Waves! Last year on May 23, Rovers embarked on a journey to Solaris. According to WuWa 2.3 Livestream, on April 29 this year, the anniversary celebration version 2.3 will grandly begin!

Limited 5-star characters Zani and Ciaccona will be added to the banners, and there will be a large number of Astrites! Keep reading to get your anniversary celebration event guide!

Version 2.3 Banners

The version 2.3 banners will still be divided into two phases, with the following schedule:

• Phase 1:
  • 5-star: Zani (Spectro, Gauntlet)
  • 4-star: Lumi, Taoqi, Yuanwu
• Phase 2:
  • 5-star: Ciaccona (Aero, Pistol)
  • 4-star: Danjin, Yangyang, Mortefi

The Spectro character Phoebe will be rerun in the phase 1! The rerun character of phase 2 is most likely Roccia, but please refer to the official announcement.

Zani is a powerful DPS who can switch between shield and sword forms, while Ciaccona is an Aero off-field DMG-increasing support who can gather enemies.

Resonator Convene

The Anniversary Event will introduce a "Convene" for all resonators!

The rerun select-banner will be divided into two phases (Phase 1 & Phase 2), each featuring different limited past characters/weapons. Players can choose one limited past character or weapon to increase its drop rate during the banner period!

The version 2.3 will have the following content to celebrate Anniversary:

Gifts of Grand Celebration

"Gifts of Grand Celebration" is a special Wuthering Waves 2.3 Anniversary event! All Resonators just need to log in and check in on May 23rd to receive:

• ×10 Radiant Tides
• The exclusive anniversary avatar "Moment of Resonance"

 

7-Day Login Event-"Gifts of Grand Reunion"

The seven-day Stay-tuned rewards for the anniversary celebration are as follows. A total of 300 Astrites can be claimed upon login!

There will also be a bonus of 5 Radiant Tides + 5 Lustrous Tides in the subsequent seven-day Stay-tuned-2!

 

Gifts of Melodic Verses

At the end of Version 2.3, this limited-time login event begins. Log in during the event and you'll get Astrites, the new item Modifier, Premium Sealed Tube and other rewards. This event will last for a period in the next update.

 

Anniversary Celebration Event: Cubes

The main event of the Anniversary Celebration, is about to debut! Resonators' bodies have undergone a magical transformation, but their abilities remain intact. A cubes battle is about to unfold in Solaris, with cute Justice cubes taking on the Evil Abbowser. Stay tuned!

 

Cubie Derby Warmup

In version 2.3, Resonators will transform into little cubie and participate in the Anniversary Sports Festival. By taking part in the event, you can obtain 10 Radiant Tides and the soaring skin Flight Aspect: Laureate !

 

Initial Top-up Bonus Reset

After Version 2.3 goes live, the initial top-up bonus in the Store will be reset, which means you'll be able to receive double Lunites again for all first-time purchases.

 

Version 2.3 New Mode to play

Roguelike: Solaris Film Festival

In this event, each level plays like a film script. Your choices in the level affect the storyline and endings. Recruit Resonator teammates fight bosses for Dream Fragments to grow stronger. And as Bond Level increases between you and your teammates, you'll gain all kinds of combat bonuses. And during combat, you can try the new Synergy Burst. Plus for event rewards, we've not only got the usual Astrite rewards, but also added Phantom appearances for Echoes, including Phantom: Crownless and Phantom: Nightmare Crownless.

 

Tactical Hologram: Phantom Pain

In Version 2.3, the "Tactical Hologram" mode will introduce two brand-new bosses for players to challenge! Defeating them will reward you with Astrites and other prizes!

 

Gilded Nightmarket

Complete a variety of Convene tasks and activity tasks to earn Nightmarket Tokens, which you can use to exchange for Radiant Tides, the new item Modifier, and other upgrade materials. What's more, some rare rewards from previous featured events will also be made available in the Gilded Nightmarket.

 

Brand-new outfits

The refreshing summer swimsuit outfits for two Resonators Changli and Carlotta will officially launch in Version 2.4! After the Version 2.3 update, all players will receive a Outfit Voucher which can be used to get 300 Lunites off when purchasing oufit and it stacks with the launch discount !

 

New Returning Event: Reprise of Tides

The version 2.3 has completely revamped the returning event!

Returning players who complete the specified tasks can claim a total of 10 Radiant Tides and a certain number of Astrites.

 

Version 2.3 Update Settings

The following optimizations have been made in the version 2.3. Rovers no longer have to wait for the CD of the world boss!

• Added "Auto-Run" and "Auto-Sprint" to the settings interface;
• Added a frequency tuner. You can consume this material to restructure the Echo main tone attributes;
• Birthday plot. You can choose one character to celebrate your birthday;
• Resource download options now include full-volume resources or streamlined resources;
• New Re-challenge option for world bosses:
  • 1.Refresh the boss directly after claiming the rewards
  • 2.click to re-challenge without claiming the rewards
  • 3.The original 2 min CD for world bosses has been removed
• New Default Camera Movements Added
