Season 2 Storyline & New Location
In Season 2, the protagonist will journey to the Waifei Peninsula, a region within the Throne Quarter of New Eridu, situated near the perilous Lemnian Hollow. The earliest settlers here were tasked with keeping watch over this highly dangerous hollow.
Over time, an outpost took shape in the area, eventually growing into the city of Failume Heights. Perched atop a cliff, this city overlooks the harbor and its breathtaking surroundings. The region is abundant in Porcelume, a valuable material resistant to Ether Corruption and essential to the mining industry.
In Season 2, new daily quests will reflect local culture. For example, as a business-savvy video store owner, helping Yunkui Summit manage various aspects of Suibian Temple will also be a part of Proxies' new life. And the storyline will unravel a web of faction conflicts, Sarah’s plans, the Exaltists' conspiracy, and the long-guarded secrets of the Phaethon siblings here. As a result, proxies will set off on thrilling new adventures in this captivating setting.

Accroding to Firefly News, in the new map system, in the center of the screen you can see a 3D thumbnail of your selected area, you can zoom in and out of it,and click on the location you want to go to,and then you will be transported there, thereis a list of areas to quickly select.
