Aglaea’s General Team Composition
Aglaea is a brand new character coming to Honkai Star Rail in the 2nd half of version 3.0 with the release of the new land - Amphoreus and she brings with her the entirely new mechanic of on field summon as the premium new Limited 5-start character for the path of Remembrance. Aglaea’s gameplay revolves around her ability to summon her familiar onto the battlefield to fight alongside her, with the ability to allow the familiar to move independently from Aglaea, allowing her to deal 2 instances of damage in a single turn.
Furthermore, her main damage output comes from her special Ultimate form, which allows her to make coordinated attacks with her familiar to deal massive amounts of damage.
Her gameplay being so unique make it so that her team requirements are quite demanding for players to fulfilled, with an emphasis on a team revolving Aglaea so make her the best main DPS, players will need to provide Aglaea with teammates that help boost both her and her familiar’s damage output as well as providing her with as much energy as possible.
As such, a typical Aglaea team will be a Aglaea Hypercarry team comp, looking something like this:
Aglaea (Main DPS) + Support 1 + Support 2 + Sustain

Aglaea Best Premium Teammate Options
Premium Support Options
For Premium Support Options, in a hypercarry Aglaea team composition, players will need to bring at least 2 strong Support options to help boost Aglaea damage output by a massive amount in order for her to carry the entire team damage against an enemy, therefore, for Premium Support options, players should bring Sunday & Robin as the best support options for Aglaea. However, please keep in mind that if players only have 1 of the 2 characters listed, they can mismatch by bringing a F2P support option as mentioned later on in the guide.
Sunday: Sunday is by far the best support unit that Aglaea want and needs in order to perform the best in all of the contents that wants her. Sunday is a character made to support the Summon meta with Remembrance characters with his ability to provide extremely powerful and valuable buffs for both the ally and their summon and action advance both an ally and their summon, allowing them to take action immediately. In addition, for characters that require a large amount of energy to use their Ultimate like Aglaea, Sunday’s ultimate to buff and provide 20% of the ally’s energy will help boost the overall offensive capability of Aglaea massively.
Robin: Unlike Sunday who is made to go with Aglaea and is almost required in order to make an Aglaea team good, Robin is a very flexible option as a secondary and supplementary support option in a Aglaea team. Robin provides Aglaea with a lot of benefits like an increase in both Aglaea’s Attack and Critical Damage as well as granting Aglaea an additional Physical damage instance. However, Robin only provides these utilities to Aglaea with decently low uptime and doesn’t help Aglaea with her overall energy problem, so she can be replaced with another support option that is more suitable depending on the game’s contents.

Premium Sustain Options
In terms of Sustain, for Aglaea team comp, players should aim to bring Huohuo as the best healer option, and consider between Lingsha or Aventurine for general survivability boost.
Huohuo: Unlike other team comps where Huohuo does not shine in terms of providing the team with sustainability, in an Aglaea team comp where all sources of buffing and energy regeneration are welcomed, Huohuo is the best option for a Premium Aglaea team comp. Huohuo’s ability to provide the entire team with a massive boost in attack and recovers 20% of all allies’ energy when using her ultimate is a crucial ability to help improve the overall skill cycle of the entire Aglaea team comp.
Lingsha & Aventurine: As with other teams, Lingsha and Aventurine are powerful Sustain characters on their own with their own power and uniqueness that can help guarantee all other allies survive the fight with ease. If you are worried more about survivability than boosting Aglaea’s overall damage output, then you can consider both of them as the safer sustain options when compared to Huohuo.
Aglaea Best F2P Teammate Options
F2P Support Options
As with the Premium Support Option section, players need to note that for an Aglaea Hypercarry team comp, you will need to bring 2 supports in order to maximize Aglaea offensive output while guaranteeing that she obtains enough buffs to deal with all the harder contents in the game. Therefore, if players do not have both of the premium support options, you can consider mixing the premium support options with the F2P ones to be able to bring 2 supports for Aglaea teams. For this role, the best F2P support options are Remembrance Trailblazer and Tingyun.
Remembrance Trailblazer: Newly introduced in version 3.0 as well and is the other new Remembrance path character, Remembrance Trailblazer is an excellent supplementary support to bring to an Aglaea team comp. Remembrance Trailblazer provides Aglaea with an important critical rate up buff while granting her the ability to deal an additional instance of true damage, allowing her to deal with powerful foes. In addition, due to Aglaea's massive energy cost of 220, Remembrance Trailblazer True Damage will scale accordingly to her energy cost, allowing Aglaea and her familiar to deal even more true damage. Finally, Mem’s ability allows her to action advance Aglaea, allowing her to cycle through her skill more quickly.
Tingyun: An old but gold option, Tingyun makes her comeback as the best 4-start support character for those that require an attack boost and an energy boost. Tingyun is by far the best F2P supporter for Aglaea as she not only provides a massive attack boost to Aglaea using her skill, her ability and ultimate also grants Aglaea massive amounts of energy, allowing Aglaea to quickly uses her Ultimate and enhances her skill for more damage. In addition, due to Tingyun sharing Aglaea’s Lightning element, she will be able to support Aglaea even more with her Planar set effects.
F2P Sustain Options
For F2P Sustain Options in a team with Aglaea, players should consider Gallagher for this job.
Gallagher: Gallagher is simply the best F2P option of this team solely due to the fact that he can heal any ally and remove their debuff in 1 single skill use in addition to being able to attack all enemies with his Ultimate, helping with the team’s overall DPS need and help to sustain Aglaea and her familiar’s HP whenever needed.
