Well, get ready because after the update, we’re going to meet a brand-new character from Inazuma — Yumemizuki Mizuki! In this sneak peek, we’ll take a closer look at some exciting information about Mizuki, from her abilities to playstyle, and of course, a bit of lore too. Let’s dive in and see what makes this character so special!

Who is Yumemizuki Mizuki?

Yumemizuki Mizuki is a 5-star Anemo Catalyst user. What makes her stand out is her unique “swirl amplification” mechanic, which allows her to be a main DPS focusing on Swirl reactions. She relies heavily on her mastery stat to deal damage effectively.

Not only that, but she’s an old acquaintance of Yae Miko. Mizuki is actually a human-turned-dream-eating yokai (yumekui-baku), and she’s super skilled in psychological therapy. Oh, and she’s also an investor in Inazuma’s Aisa Bathhouse. In Version 5.4, we can look forward to some story quests diving deeper into her character!

 

New Weapon: Sunny Morning Sleep-In

542 ATK + 265 Elemental Mastery

After triggering Swirl, Elemental Mastery increases by 120 / 150 / 180 / 210 / 240 for 6 seconds. When the wielder’s Elemental Skill hits an enemy, Elemental Mastery is boosted by 96 / 120 / 144 / 168 / 192 for 9 seconds. After the wielder’s Elemental Burst strikes an enemy, Elemental Mastery is enhanced by 32 / 40 / 48 / 56 / 64 for 30 seconds.

 

Exploring Yumemizuki Mizuki's Skills

• Normal Attack: Performs up to three consecutive attacks, dealing Anemo damage.

• Charged Attack: Consumes a certain amount of stamina, briefly chanting before dealing AoE Anemo damage.

• Plunging Attack: Plunges from the air, striking enemies along the descent path and dealing AoE Anemo damage upon impact.

 

Elemental Skill: Enters the Dreamdrifter state, dealing AoE Anemo damage to nearby enemies.

Dreamdrifter

• While in this state, Mizuki continuously drifts forward, periodically dealing AoE Anemo damage to surrounding enemies.

• Mizuki’s Elemental Mastery enhances the damage of Swirl reactions triggered by nearby characters in the team.

• During this time, Mizuki can control the direction of her drift and increase the pickup range for the Yumemi Style Special Snacks from her Elemental Burst, Anraku Secret Spring Therapy.

• The Dreamdrifter state ends when Mizuki exits the state, or if the skill is used again.

 

Elemental Burst: Attracts nearby objects and enemies, dealing AoE Anemo damage and summoning a Mini Baku.

Mini Baku

• The Mini Baku follows the current active character and periodically creates a "Yumemi Style Special Snack" nearby.

• When a character in the team picks up a Yumemi Style Special Snack and their HP is above 70%, it triggers the Munen Shockwave, dealing AoE Anemo damage to surrounding enemies. If the character's HP is below 70%, it restores HP instead, with the healing amount scaling based on Mizuki’s Elemental Mastery.

• When Mizuki picks up a Yumemi Style Special Snack and triggers healing, the healing amount is increased by 100%.

• If Yumemi Style Special Snacks are not picked up within a certain time, they will release the Munen Shockwave, dealing AoE Anemo damage to nearby enemies.

 

Yumemizuki Mizuki's Passive Skills

• All Ailments Banished: When using non-revival food, there is a chance to increase the healing amount by 30% (based on the character's Friendship Level, Travelers always trigger this effect).

• Bright Moon's Restless Voice: Allows the Elemental Skill "Dreamdrifter" to last for 10 seconds.

• Thoughts by Day Bring Dreams by Night: While in the Dreamdrifter state, when any team member hits an enemy with Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, or Electro, Mizuki’s Elemental Mastery is increased by 100.

 

Yumemizuki Mizuki’s Constellations: How to Maximize Your Pulls

C1(Improve): Significantly increases Swirl damage. While in the Dreamdrifter state, every 3.5 seconds, marks nearby enemies. When dealing Swirl damage again, the damage is increased by 900% of Mizuki’s Elemental Mastery.

C2(Key): Provides significant damage bonuses to teammates. While in the Dreamdrifter state, increases teammates' damage based on the following elements: Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, and Electro (0.04% per point of Elemental Mastery).

C3: Elemental Skill level +3, up to a maximum of level 15.

C4: Picking up an Elemental Burst Yumemi Style Special Snack will both heal and deal damage, while also providing energy regeneration. Each snack restores 5 energy (up to 20 energy during the Elemental Burst).

C5: Elemental Burst level +3, up to a maximum of level 15.

C6(Key): Swirl damage can critically hit. While in the Dreamdrifter state, Swirl reactions can crit (with a fixed crit rate of 30% and a fixed crit damage of 100%).

 

Mizuki offers both damage and healing, and can group enemies while triggering Swirl  reactions. If your box is currently lacking an Anemo character, Mizuki is an excellent addition to your team. In Version 5.4, you can plan your Primogems wisely and aim to pull her to C1. Then, with her addition to the Standard Wishes in Version 5.5, you can complete her to C2, unlocking her key constellation.
